Well, I think the joint reunion with the Jenkins group was great.  We had a good time in San Antonio Tx.  We had a meeting the first day to discuss how things would work.  We talked about having both reunions at the same time, same place and same tours.  I though that was ridiculous and suggested that we have one reunion called the Jenkins/Walker Reunion or the Walker/Jenkins Reunion. I told them it did not matter to me.  We decided that we would have joint reunion and that it would be one reunion with both Walker and Jenkins personnel sitting on the board and making  decisions  about the reunions together.

The next joint reunion will be held May 2018  in Branson Missouri.  We had 3 Walker Sailor at the reunion in San Antonio.  It would be very nice to see a few more in Branson.  If you would like information on the next reunion send an e-mail to Ray Huber at  rhub447@ptd.net with your physical address and he will send you a news letter about the last reunion and information about the next one.

NEWS ON THE 2015 REUNION Held October 4th-7th

I want to thank the 5 Walker Sailors ( Al Meeds, Gary Predit, Hurd Armstrong, Ken Wilson, Doug Damron) and their family members who attended the Walker reunion in Eugene Oregon. The 9 who were there had a great time and I know that my wife and I saw parts of the United States we had never seen before. At the business meeting we decided that our next reunion would be held in Nashville Tennessee in Sep 2016. As soon as I know the exact dates I will let every one know.

I know that different reasons get in the way of some attending the reunions but it would really be appreciated if those that can attend show up. If the attendance at the reunions does not improve or continues to drop we will have no choice but to stop holding reunions. Any suggestions on how to hold a better reunion would be greatly appreciated.
